She is a Certified Mediator, accredited by the Judiciary of Kenya; a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Nairobi Centre for International Arbitration; she is also a NEMA Registered Lead EIA/EA Expert and a Legislative Drafter Certified by Strathmore University.

Florence Oduk specializes in policy and regulatory arrangements relating to infrastructure, environment and natural resources. She has diverse skills and competencies positioning her as a great Legal advisor, Social Safeguards Specialist and ADR Practitioner.

Over the years, Ms. Oduk has advised clients on legal compliance and facilitated commercial transactions relating to infrastructure for various public utilities. She has developed and implemented environmental safeguards including Impact Assessments and Resettlement Plans. She has done multi-sectoral inter-disciplinary Audits and facilitated many seminars, events, and conferences. Additionally, she has managed the legal and operational risks of private and public investments and participated in the development of law and policy through various avenues including as a Board Member of Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA). She has also engaged various entities in solution-oriented dialogues that overcome conflicts through mediation, arbitration and consensus building.
